David S. Brown
Co-President, Grand Pacific ResortsDavid S. Brown is Co-President of Grand Pacific Resorts and its affiliated companies. Mr. Brown oversees all resort operations, and co-manages development and sales and marketing functions with his business partner of 15 years, Timothy Stripe. Together Mr. Brown and Mr. Stripe have developed and manage fourteen timeshare resorts and hotels in California, comprising over 1,000 units serving over 46,000 timeshare Owners. Prior to co-founding Grand Pacific Resorts in 1989, Mr. Brown served as general counsel to Vistana Resort in Orlando, Florida, and was an executive with Shell/Winners Circle Resorts in Del Mar, California.
Mr. Brown serves as Chairman of the California Chapter of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA), and sits on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of ARDA, the Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing the timeshare industry, assisting in legislation and regulation of the timeshare industry at the state and federal levels. Mr. Brown is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, teaching in the Masters of Real Estate Development program, and is a Member of the Young President's Organization (YPO).
Mr. Brown graduated from Columbia College in New York City in 1976, and the University of Virginia School of Law in 1979. He lives with his four children in San Diego.
Timothy J. Stripe
Co-President, Grand Pacific ResortsTimothy Stripe is Co-President of Grand Pacific Resorts. Mr. Stripe is responsible for business development, acquisitions, banking relationships and co-manages the sales and marketing activities.
Before co-founding Grand Pacific Resorts, Mr. Stripe was Chief Financial Officer for Winners Circle Resorts International, Inc. During his time with Winner Circle Resorts he was very involved in the development process of the related projects. In 1989 he became a principal and took on the additional responsibility of overseeing the marketing department of the company, in addition to the financing and development of the projects.
Prior to obtaining his first position in the timeshare industry, Mr. Stripe served as a corporate controller for the Western Financial Group, a holding company for savings and loan interests, real estate development, and manufacturing concerns.
Mr. Stripe is a certified public accountant and began his professional career in Public Accounting in 1976. Mr. Stripe serves on the board of directors for the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce and Cal State University San Marcos. He graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor Arts degree, and holds a Masters in Public Administration from California State University in Fullerton. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Carlsbad.

Nigel Lobo
Vice President of Resort OperationsNigel Lobo has the overall leadership of Resort Operations, including Inventory Management, Owner Services and HOA Support, as well as Construction, Maintenance, and Design and Purchasing for the management company. Mr. Lobo is responsible for building and retaining a strong management team to maintain Grand Pacific's Standards of Excellence across all resorts.
Mr. Lobo is a hospitality veteran and has held various senior executive positions in the hotel and resort management field. His prior responsibilities have included operational oversight, managing owned assets and third party management as well as franchise operations for various hotel brands including the Oberoi Hotel Group, Intercontinental, Marriott, and Hilton Brands in Asia, Europe and the United States.
Mr. Lobo received a Masters Degree in Hotel Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), NY and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Bombay. He also completed e-Cornell's Leadership and Strategic Management Program from Cornell University. He resides in Carlsbad, CA with his wife and three children.

Timothy W. Shinkle
Chief Financial OfficerTimothy W. Shinkle, a financial service veteran with over 17 years of accounting experience, is corporate controller and heads the Information Technology department of Grand Pacific Resorts. Mr. Shinkle leads a team of financial professionals who handle all of Grand Pacific Resort's financial needs, including financial reporting, assessment billings and collections, and complete accounting services.
Before joining Grand Pacific Resorts, Mr. Shinkle was an Audit and Accounting Manager with the Newport Beach, California office for Pannell Kerr Forster, an international CPA and consulting company. In his six years with PKF, he worked closely with clients, specializing in the hotel, timeshare and club industry.
Mr. Shinkle is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelors Degree from California State University at Fullerton. He lives with his wife and three children in Vista.
